This firm specialise in delivering top-tier consultancy, innovative designs, and impeccable service across a wide spectrum of projects, including housing, commercial, education, leisure, listed buildings and major urban design schemes. After numerous successful years, they have expanded by opening additional offices nationwide and are showing no signs of slowing with the growth of their business – making this an exciting time to come on board!

As a result of this expansion, there is a need to add a talented Senior Architect to their dynamic Chelmsford office. This role would see the Senior Architect collaborate with a highly talented and friendly team to work upon a wide range of interesting projects from concept to completion – largely within the Education sector.

Senior Architect Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from inception to construction completion
  • Conduct site visits, project evaluations, and advise on regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with clients to develop feasibility reports and design proposals
  • Produce detailed drawings and documentation for planning applications
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and quality standards
  • Stay updated on architectural trends and technological advancements
  • Provide mentorship to junior colleagues
  • Liaise with construction professionals and regulatory authorities

Senior Architect Requirements:

  • Recognised RIBA/ARB Part III qualification in Architecture
  • Experience within the Education sector would be highly desirable
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD & Adobe Creative Suite essential
  • Proficiency with Revit & SketchUp – highly desirable
  • Knowledge of UK Planning Policy and Building Regulations
  • Strong communication, organisational, and design skills
  • Proactive, collaborative, and innovative mindset
