A multi-award-winning Architectural Practice based in Winchester have a fantastic opportunity for an Architect to join their well established team to work on Conservation and Traditional projects
This world recognised award-winning Practice are searching for a Conservation Architect that has a depth of experience specialising in Classical and Traditional architecture as well as contextual Urban Design, to work on projects in the residential and high-end bespoke sector as part of their well established team.
With global recognition for their award-winning projects, which range from stunning bespoke houses, the restoration of historic buildings, to commercial and public structures, as well as masterplans for village extensions and major housing developments, you will gain exposure to a diverse array of fascinating projects. This will ensure that your role is dynamic and enjoyable. The practice delivers prestigious projects both in the UK and internationally, offering you the chance to leave your mark on projects that will be appreciated worldwide.
The successful Architect will have a proven job running ability working to programmes with deadlines along with experience in delivering bespoke residential projects and producing comprehensive presentation drawings. You will need to be a team player with excellent communication skills, able to work independently and under pressure with a sound knowledge of construction methods and details. The successful Architect will need a thorough knowledge of all architectural stages, have a meticulous eye for detail and be willing to travel within the UK
Essential Requirements for candidates:
- RIBA/ARB registered Architect
- 5+ years minimum post qualification UK experience
- Experienced design ability and problem solving skills
- Strong working knowledge in Traditional and classic Architecture
- Experience working across all RIBA stages
- Ability to control finances of projects and budgets
- Thorough knowledge of UK Building Regs, UK Planning and construction working methods.
- Possess strong communication skills and have a meticulous attention to detail.
- Willing to travel the UK
A highly competitive salary will be on offer for the successful Conservation Architect likely to be in the region of £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience.
