Conrad Company Conference - Portugal 2019

It’s been difficult to contain our energy these past few days, as the whole team returned back to work on Monday after a busy weekend in The Algarve, Portugal.

Suffolk, London, Leeds and Edinburgh offices, were lucky enough to be taken abroad for our Annual Company Conference.

After a long tiring journey, it was only fair we spent the first day bonding and enjoying the surroundings, soaking up the sun and taking full advantage of the pool (and of course it would be rude not to have had a couple of drinks to celebrate too!).

With introductions completed and a few heavy heads, we were up bright and early for an energy-packed morning of kayaking around the Benagil Caves. It’s safe to say some team members were certainly more skilled in the sport than others! But nonetheless, it was an entertaining, unique experience we all embraced.

Conference time. In previous years, Conrad had conducted their annual company meetings across multiple cities around the UK, Leeds being the most recent in 2018. With old and new faces joined together and in an exciting location, the buzz around the room was electric. General updates, new future opportunities for Conrad, promotions and awards- it was a reason to celebrate.

The day ended with us dining for dinner at ‘Taste’ in the pretty little village of Carvoeiro where we were based. I recall a colleague suggesting it was like “herding cats” trying to get all 26 of us from our hotel to the restaurant on schedule. So, a big thank you to our Marketing Manager Kieran for your patience with the team!

Although we are perhaps slightly biased, the Conrad Consulting team are unlike no other. Every single person is passionate about their work, and helping eachother succeed. A shared common acknowledgement across the company, is the integration between each office. We all work comfortably and smoothly together as if we are all under one roof. It’s a distinct difference which not many firms have the pleasure of having. Of course, not to mention, the characters themselves in each office are a delight to be around.

We have watched Conrad grow from one office in the sleepy town of Suffolk, expanding to other cities- the most recent being London which we’re looking to develop and grow in such a busy market. We are interested in individuals who are hard-working, passionate, resilient, and personable. With the objective to grow and expand the business, we’re always interested in hearing from prospective employees that possess the right skills, and fit the culture of the business.
