Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to provide expert commercial management and quantity surveying support and grow their commercial team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of the quantity surveying process from inception to completion.
* Provide accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
* Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports.
* Monitor project progress, costs, and financial performance.
* Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
* Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with clients and subcontractors.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
* Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development.
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* RICS membership (or working towards) is desirable.
